Heifetz On Tour

The Heifetz International Music Institute resided in Wolfeboro on the campus of Brewster Academy from 2002 to 2011, and their annual homecoming concert of Institute graduates is a must-see for classical music lovers. “Sensational” “fantastic” “young and enthusiastic!” These are some of the words of applause Wolfeboro Friends of Music board member Don Holm used to describe April 2014 Heifetz performers. “Dimitry on cello was loved by all, really so good and expressive. Katharina was just delightful on the violin and played with such incredible vigor. Michael with his 1699 viola (on loan from Juilliard), was excellent as well. It was a memorable night perfectly in sync with our mission statement of providing quality entertainment and support of young musicians.”
