Meadowlarks Trio

Hailing from the Shepherd School at Rice University and
the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Meadowlark Piano
Trio was formed by three best friends in 2012. Violinist
Janny Joo, cellist Timothy Paik, and pianist April Sun have
since performed nationwide to great acclaim. Named
semifinalists in the 2017 Fischoff International Competition,
their appearances include numerous festivals and
concerts, including Carnegie Room Concerts, Spectrum
Music Series in NYC, Bing Concert Hall in California and
performances for community outreach. In addition to
performing classical repertoire, the trio performs original,
popular pieces.
